Beginning in Bristol, Hannah Turner started her business in 1991 creating a small range of ceramic animals which she sold from a local studio. Hannah’s passion for creating beautiful ceramic tableware has grown a lot since then, with her now having her work displayed across the country featuring her beautifully imaginative range of ceramic tableware.
Featuring a wonderful range of handmade ceramics from animal egg cups to ceramic mugs, Hannah Turner’s ceramics really bring a sense of humour and fun to the home - all being animal and nature themed they’re the ideal ceramic gifts for animal lovers.
Sustainable and ethical ceramics from Hannah Turner
With such a passion for animals, Hannah Turner ceramics have joined forces with two conservation projects to protect the animals that are the inspiration for the business. Hannah continues to reduce waste where possible and look after the environment - providing all recycled cardboard and plastic free packaging.
All of Hannah Turner's animal ceramics are handmade in Sri Lanka by Hannah’s expert team of manufacturers. Each of her gorgeous ceramics are made in small quantities by a team of dedicated artisans, Hannah works closely with her team in Sri Lanka to provide all workers with a fair wage, cost price food and household goods, regular training, access to medical services and a scheme for promoting women into management.
In recent years, to further offset her carbon footprint, Hannah has cut down her trips to Sri Lanka and regularly plants trees to ensure her environmental impact is low.
