In continuation of our series of favourite products, this month we’re taking a peek into Emma’s top picks. As a budding interior designer, Emma has impeccable taste, whether that be assisting us in the studio when taking photos or designing new shop layouts – she excels at making all our products look even more beautiful! In these Covid times we’re really feeling the need to add a little extra sparkle to our homes, and with Emma being the interior design genius she is we feel her pick of the products may provide you with the perfect lockdown inspiration for your home!

Emma has a flare for creating that sleek, stylish Scandinavian minimalist design – taking beautiful products and combining them to create the perfect homely yet stylish feel. We begin with the Bloomingville table clock in white marble, the perfect combination of classic with a modern twist, the gorgeous white marble juxtaposed with the industrial feel of the black hands really creates the ultimate minimalist, Scandinavian feel.

The classic design meet modern twist is something we love here at Fig1 – especially when designing and curating our own homes, and Emma is no different. With her next product being this absolutely stunning Bloomingville Flowerpot with Metal legs, this statement piece fits perfectly into any plant lovers home. With the beautiful terrazzo inspired feel to it, the concrete, industrial materials of the pot combined with the delicate gold of the legs really makes this piece look incredible in any room.

Although we are now sold out of the Bloomingville flowerpot we do still have similar alternatives such as the Nkuku Atsu antique brass planter with black metal legs, a similarly stunning planter.

The final product Emma chose was one of simple beauty, the Nkuku Nalbari chopping board made from mango wood really combines gorgeous, modern Scandinavian design with a more traditional shape. As you know, one of our favourite things to do here at Fig1 is eat, especially when able to share with our loved ones – the beautiful herringbone design makes any dish look incredible. Sharing is in our nature and what better way to do so than creating beautiful food with our loved ones, Covid allowing of course!

Although we are now sold out of the Nkuku Nalbari chopping board we do have alternatives available such as the similarly beautiful Nkuku Bwari Marble and Mango Wood marble platter.
