Hurray! We’ve had an awesome summer and its nearly time for back to school. All of us Figgies (our nickname for the staff) have been spending time with families, enjoying building sand castles on the beach, having barbecues in the garden, cooking and eating together – after the year we’ve had, summer has been such a time of joy. The great British staycation has become a new thing with all of us exploring wonderful sights close to home with our families, paying close attention to the silver lining and ignoring the scatter clouds. Now it’s nearly time for those kiddies to go back to school.
It’s been such a year of change and all our lives, but at Fig1 we’ve been embracing those challenges. We’ve recently taken on all the space in our Quaker Friars shop, which had been shared with Found Hea. As a result we’re expanding our ranges and can’t wait to show you all some of our fabulous new things. With back to school fast approaching we’ve put together a collection of our back to school must have for not just the kids but their parents as well!

Ah the final right of passage – picking up your very own pencil case! It’s so hard to decide which is your favourite, we love choosing bright colours and funky fabrics. A favourite of ours is this carry-tite from Hightide, not only is the fabric waterproof but also provides a home for all our favourite stationery.
Among other essentials, we like to keep a ruler, rubber and paperclips in our pencil cases for on the go!

With September on its way bringing the colder months, its time to get dressed up! We love adding beautiful scarves to our wardrobe this time of year.
